Our Advice:
Rough sea state is dangerous to all small crafts, and sea recreational activities and sports (i.e. swimming, jetskiiing, scuba diving and others). Mariners and the general public are advised to always be up to date and to take into account the latest weather forecast, advisory and warning before planning any sea recreational activity and to take precaution and necessary actions to ensure safety.

Members of the public and road users are also advised to take note of the risk of flash floods especially at low lying and flood prone areas during heavy showers or thundershowers as well as the risk of falling trees during gusty condition.

Our department shall continue to monitor the weather conditions and will issue appropriate weather advisory or warnings if and when necessary. We also would like to advise the public to keep updated with the latest weather information either by contacting our duty weather forecaster at our Forecast Centre through our Weather Line 114 or visiting our website at or follow our Facebook account (bruneiweather), Instagram (@bruneiweather) and Brunei WX mobile application.
